Chevy Rules!
The gathering used to meet at the parking lot on the southwest corner of Wentz and Oklahoma in Guthrie back in the seventies!
Whatever happend/s after the initial meeting takes place is anybody's guess, the meets have, in the past been known to last until sun up and or involve activities north of town.
The name, "CHEVY RULES!" is derived from an incident that occurred in the late seventies wherein a generation 1 member painted >CHEVY RULES!< on the building at this corner.
The lot was referred to by many including the Guthrie P.D. just that for many years although the paint was long gone......now here we are...
SK 2010 April 24th 2010!
The next "Chevy Rules!" will be held in the month of April 24th 2010 the same day as the 89er celebration in Guthrie happens!
